Wha Earrings

Nelson Pounamu earrings ~ Wha, meaning 5, due to the stone having 5 edges.

The Pounamu has been set in sterling silver, which has been oxidised (darkened) and then sanded to reveal the silver on the higher points.

Nelson Pounamu is found in the Nelson Region of the South Island. These particular pieces are almost like a Grey, duck egg blue, with dark green inclusions. So unique and beautiful!
